For 50 years the Garnet Valley School District has produced more than 10,000 students who have had the opportunity to be educated by one of the finest public school systems within the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. Over the years, the size, curriculum model, and technology of the district has changed and enhanced through growth of an area supported by a population of more than 45,000 residents from the Bethel, Concord, and Chester Heights communities encompassing 23 square miles. As we propose this celebration of a half century of graduates, our greater goal is to give back and pay forward the gifts we received from GVHS. Through the efforts of awards, special gifts, and scholarships determined by our board to benefit of students and facilities, the Garnet Valley Alumni wishes to begin what will be a tradition in promoting educational partnerships through a wide range network of 10,000 plus graduates. Together, we can build partnerships, encouraged and nurtured our children and young adults, and as a result, making our community a better place to live in the name of the Garnet Valley Alumni.
